Product / Point of Sale
Take every order professionally, at counter speed
Built for service shops — laundries, repair counters, salons, and collection points. Take the order with the customer and details attached, print the receipt or label on the spot, pull up any past order from the till, and close the day on numbers you can trust.
A day at the counter
From opening the counter to closing the day
Follow the counter workflow from the opening cash check through orders, payments, receipts, customer lookups, and day-end reconciliation. Taking orders and collecting payment is all the counter has to do — the opening and closing cash steps are there for shops that want them.
-
/ 01 Optional
Start the day
Clock in at the till and start the cash drawer with the day's opening cash. Skip it if you do not track a float.
-
/ 02
Take the order
Attach the customer and the item notes the job needs, then check the cart before payment.
-
/ 03
Collect payment
Record the payment method, then print the receipt or label when needed.
-
/ 04 Optional
Close the day
Check the day's sales, payments, and cash count before leaving. Only for shops that reconcile a drawer at closing.
Counter checkout
Describe the job, and the price and date follow
A service order is not a barcode scan. Your services, options, unit prices, intake questions, and turnaround times are set once, so the counter describes the job and lets the total and the collection date work themselves out.
-
Each service carries its own options and unit price — per piece, per kilo, per set — so staff pick the job, not a product code.
-
Define the steps the counter walks through for every item: brand, material, colour, condition — whatever you will need later, in the order you want it asked.
-
Rule-based pricing resolves the total from conditions you set — size, type, finish — with surcharges, discounts, and bundles applied on their own. Included with Professional.
-
The ready-by date is calculated from the services on the order, so the counter promises a date the floor can keep.
Customer accounts
One customer account, every shop and every channel
Attaching the order to a person is what makes the rest work: the receipt can send itself, a delivery has a real address to go to, and what the customer built up online still counts at your counter.
-
With an email on the record, the receipt or bill goes out on your own template when the order is billed, paid, or collected — nobody photographs a paper slip.
-
Where a postal code identifies a building, entering it fills the address in — saved on the customer and ready for the orders you send out for home delivery.
-
For an existing or migrated membership, the counter shows the wallet balance and points on the same customer and applies available benefits while the cart is open. Member pricing is included with Professional.
-
The counter, your website, your app, and chat all resolve to the same customer record — across every shop you run, not one copy per outlet.
Documents
Every document the order produces is one you designed
Receipts, item labels, invoice PDFs, and the emails that carry them are templates you edit — layout, fields, and your own branding — and the counter prints or sends them from the screen the order was taken on.
-
Design the slip your shop hands over — what it shows, in what order, with your branding — and print it on the receipt printer already at the counter.
-
Item and garment labels print from the same order, each carrying its own QR code, so what goes onto the rack can be scanned straight back to the item.
-
When a slip is not enough, the same order renders as an invoice or order PDF on your own A4 template.
-
The counter can email the document instead of handing it over, on your template — so a customer who has already left still gets it.
Integrations
Connected to the rails your shop already runs on
The counter is not an island. Card and QR payments ride one connection, the mall gets its daily figure without anyone typing it, and your accounts stay in step with what the till actually took.
-
Connect Stripe or HitPay once and take card and QR payments at the counter — the same connection your website and app already use.
-
Shopping mall tenancies require a daily gross-turnover figure. Yours is filed in the format that landlord requires, automatically, instead of someone doing it by hand each night.
-
Add CRM and counter orders and invoices sync to Xero or QuickBooks Online on their own — and an invoice reconciled against the bank comes back here as paid.
Chat inbox
ProfessionalAnswer the customer without leaving the till
Professional adds the counter-facing chat inbox. Counter staff read and answer customer WhatsApp threads beside the orders those messages are about, and no cashier needs a CRM seat of their own. It is an account-wide plan, so moving to Professional moves every POS location together.
-
Counter staff read and answer customer WhatsApp threads from the till, alongside the orders those messages are about.
-
Review store-local customer history and recent conversations from the POS, so whoever picks up the thread has the context.
-
Counter staff answer from the shared inbox without buying a CRM seat for each of them.
-
A reply is drafted from the customer's own order history for staff to review, edit, and send — and translated when the customer is not writing in your language.
End of day
Close with numbers you can trust
At closing time, you can see the day's takings, check collections, count the drawer, and close the outlet with a clear record.
-
See the day's sales and order activity before closing.
-
Review payment totals by method without manual adding.
-
Compare the expected cash amount with the counted drawer amount, including cash in or out.
-
Close the day and keep the outlet record inside EasyBiz Cloud.

FAQ
Common questions about Point of Sale
Who is Point of Sale for?
Point of Sale is for retail stores, laundries, repair counters, salons, collection points, and service businesses that take orders face to face.
Do I pay per cashier?
No. You pay by POS location, not by cashier. That means the POS at that outlet can be used without adding a separate paid seat for every cashier.
Do counter staff need a seat?
No. Seats are for Console users. Counter staff are unlimited at each POS location: a staff member clocks in on the POS with a 4-digit PIN, without a login or a seat of their own. The POS mobile app pairs to the same counter for Check In and Check Out scanning on the shop floor — the phone joins that station rather than becoming another user.
What is included in the base price?
Standard covers everything the counter needs to run: checkout, payment recording, receipts and labels, customer lookup, manual discounts, catalog pricing, daily sales reporting, and unlimited counter staff at that outlet. Professional adds the counter-facing WhatsApp chat desk, so staff can read and answer customer messages from the till.
Can one outlet be on Professional and another on Standard?
No. Your POS plan applies to the whole account. Moving to Professional moves every POS location, and the price changes for each of them. New locations you add join the plan your account is already on.
What devices can I use as the POS screen?
EasyBiz Cloud POS runs in a modern browser on browser-based counter devices, Windows PCs, Macs, iPads, and Android tablets with a screen of 10 inches or larger. The order screen is built for a counter, so a phone is not a supported POS device. Your counter needs a stable internet connection because POS transactions are processed and synced in real time.
Which receipt and label printers work with the POS?
Receipt printers need the ESC/POS command language and label printers need TSPL, connected over USB or Bluetooth Low Energy. These are the two most common printer languages on the market, so most receipt and label printers sold today already support them, and there is no proprietary EasyBiz printer to buy. A brand name alone is not proof, so ask the seller to confirm ESC/POS for a receipt printer or TSPL for a label printer on your exact model before you order — or send the model to support and we will check it for you. The Hardware page covers screens, printers, cash drawers, and customer displays in full.
Does the POS work without internet?
The counter needs a stable internet connection. Orders, payments, and customer lookups are processed live so every device and the back office see the same figures immediately. An offline checkout mode is on the roadmap; if your outlet has unreliable connectivity, raise it before installation so we can plan for it.
Which payment methods are supported?
The payment methods are your own list. A new account starts with cash, NETS, Visa, Mastercard, bank transfer, and others; you can rename or switch off any of those and add your own — cheque, a particular bank account, whatever your shop actually takes — and each one appears as a tender button at checkout. Those methods record how the customer paid, with the money settled outside EasyBiz. For payments processed on the spot, connect Stripe or HitPay once and take QR and card payments at the counter, on your website, and in your app. Provider transaction fees are pass-through charges.
Can I run multiple locations?
Yes. Each outlet is billed as its own POS location, and every outlet runs the same plan. A five-outlet account on Professional pays the Professional price five times.
