The purpose of this step is to design the process for one part of your operations — Pre-Production, Production, or Completion & Handover. You can create separate pipelines for different scenarios, so a home pickup order can follow a completely different path from a walk-in shop order.
Opening the Order Pipelines Page
-
Click the Settings (gear icon) in the top navigation.
-
Scroll to the Production section and click Order Pipelines .
The page shows three sections, one for each phase:
-
Pre-Production — how orders are received and quoted before production begins. Skipped for confirmed orders.
-
Production — the processing stages orders go through. Shared across all order types.
-
Completion & Handover — how completed orders are handed over, delivered, or otherwise closed out.
Creating a Pipeline
-
In the phase you want, click Add Pipeline . A panel opens on the right.
-
Pipeline Name: give your pipeline a descriptive name (e.g. “Home Pickup,” “Service,” “Shop Collection”).
-
Type (optional): some phases let you tag the pipeline with a type.
-
In Completion & Handover, the Completion & Handover Type options are “Shop Pickup,” “Home Delivery,” and “On-Site Service.”
-
In Pre-Production, the Pre-Production Type option is “Home Pickup.”
-
-
Add your steps: under Steps, click Add Step for each stage of the process. Click a step to expand it, then fill in:
-
Step Name — the name your team uses (e.g. “Pending Pickup”).
-
Status Category — the stage of the order this step represents. See Set up the Status Library for what each category means.
-
Auto Trigger — optional. Choose the staff action that automatically moves the order into this step, or leave it as “None” if staff will move the order manually.
-
-
Finalise: click Save when your sequence of steps is complete.
