Where to Find the Sales Report

  1. In your EasyBiz Console, open the Reports menu.

  2. Click Sales .

The page is titled Sales Report. It needs no setup — every confirmed sale, discount, and return flows in automatically.

The Four Big Numbers

At the top of the report you will see four cards:

CardWhat it means
Net SalesThe value of everything you sold in the period, after discounts. This is your headline sales figure.
OrdersHow many orders you made in the period.
Avg Order ValueNet Sales divided by Orders — how much a typical order is worth.
Sales ReturnsHow many returns you issued in the period. This card shows a count, not a dollar amount — the dollar detail is in the Sales Returns table further down.

Each card also shows a small percentage with an up or down arrow comparing against the previous period — the day before in Daily view, the previous month in Monthly view, and the previous year in Yearly view.

If you sell both services (like laundry or repairs) and retail products, the Net Sales, Orders, and Avg Order Value cards each show a small Services vs Retail split underneath, so you can see both sides of the business at a glance.

The Sales Summary

Next to the cards, the Sales Summary shows how your total is built up:

RowMeaning
Gross SalesEverything rung up, including surcharges, before any discount
DiscountsThe total you gave away in discounts (shown as a minus)
Net SalesGross Sales minus Discounts — the same headline number as the card
TaxGST or other tax on the period’s sales
RoundingSmall cash-rounding adjustments
TotalWhat customers owe for the period’s sales, tax and rounding included

”Sales You Made” vs “Money You Collected”

This is the most common point of confusion, so it is worth being precise:

  • The Sales Report counts a sale when the order’s pricing is confirmed — that is when you have actually “made the sale”. For B2B agent orders, the sale is always counted on the order date instead, because agent billing follows the order date.

  • Money collected is a separate event. A customer can pay a deposit today and the rest next week, or take an invoice and pay at month end. Those payments do not appear on this report.

So if an order was confirmed today but the customer has not paid yet, it still counts as a sale today. And if a customer pays off an old order today, that payment does not add to today’s sales.

To see money movements instead of sales, use:

  • Reports, then Payments — collections broken down by payment method.

  • Receivables — orders with outstanding balances still to collect. See Managing Your Receivables .

Choosing Your Date Range

Use the buttons at the top right:

ModeShows
DailyOne day, compared with the day before and the same weekday last week
MonthlyOne month, day by day
YearlyOne year, month by month
CustomAny date range you pick, up to 90 days, ending no later than today

In Monthly view you also get a Day filter — pick one or more weekdays (for example only Saturdays) to see how a specific day of the week performs across the month.

Filtering the Report

The filter row sits under the page header:

  • Market — always active. The report shows one market (one country and currency) at a time, so totals are never mixed across currencies. If you only operate in Singapore, you will simply see your Singapore market selected.

  • Sales channel — narrow the report to a single outlet, POS shop, or app.

  • Location — narrow to a single physical location instead. You can filter by sales channel or by location, but not both at once.

The Breakdown Tables

Scrolling down, the report breaks the same period into different views:

  • Sales Trend — a chart of your sales over the period.

  • Discount Breakdown — how much each discount option cost you, with a drill-down to the orders behind each line. Useful for checking how a promotion is being used at the counter — see Giving Discounts at the Counter .

  • Sales by Business — sales per sales channel (each POS shop or app is one row).

  • Sales by Company — sales per B2B company, if you bill corporate or agent customers.

  • Sales by Business Unit — sales per line of business (for example Laundry vs Bag Repair), shown when you run more than one.

  • Sales by Lead Source — sales grouped by where the customer came from.

  • Net Sales by Product — sales per product or service option, with a toggle to switch dimension. Grouped into Service Items and Retail Products when you sell both.

  • Sales Returns — every return in the period, with Order #, Date, Business, Amount, and Note, plus a Total row. This table only appears when there are returns. See Processing Refunds and Returns .

  • Order Entries — in Daily view only, a line-by-line list of every sale, amendment, credit note, and void recorded that day.

Use the Export button at the top right to download the report.

How This Relates to the Close of Day Report

The two reports answer different questions:

Sales Report (Console)Close of Day Report (POS)
Question it answers”How is my business selling over time?""Does today’s cash and card income match what this shop sold?”
ScopeAll channels and locations in a market, any date rangeOne POS shop, the current business day only
Payment methodsNot shown here — see the Payments reportIncome listed per payment method (Cash, Card, QR)

Your staff runs the Close of Day at the shop to reconcile the till; you read the Sales Report to steer the business. See Introduction to the Close of Day Report .

If the Numbers Do Not Look Right

  • The report looks empty. Check the Market filter first — the report shows one market at a time. Then check the date mode: Daily only shows one day.

  • The report does not match the cash in the till. That is usually the timing difference explained above — unpaid orders count as sales, and today’s collections for old orders do not. Compare with the Close of Day Report and the Payments report before assuming something is wrong.

  • A banner says some entries are pending market assignment. Some orders have not been assigned to a market yet, so they are excluded from the totals until they are resolved. Contact support if the banner does not clear.

  • A return or edit from a past day shows up under today. If that past day was already closed at the shop, corrections are posted to today instead of rewriting a closed day — this is by design.

FAQs

Is Net Sales before or after tax?

Before tax. The Sales Summary adds Tax and Rounding after Net Sales to arrive at Total.

Why is the Sales Returns card a count and not a dollar amount?

The card counts return transactions so you can spot unusual activity quickly. The dollar amounts of each return are listed in the Sales Returns table lower down, with a total.

Can I see all my countries in one combined total?

No. The report shows one market at a time so different currencies are never added together. Switch markets using the Market filter.

How far back can a custom range go?

A custom range can cover up to 90 days, and cannot extend into the future.

Where do I see payment methods like Cash vs PayNow?

On the Payments report (Reports, then Payments) and on each shop’s Close of Day Report — not on the Sales Report.
