Saltwater is an online laundry service in Singapore. Customers book a collection on our site or on WhatsApp, we pick up from their door, wash and return it. We do wash and fold by the kilo, dry cleaning by the piece, and ironing. Curtains and bedsheets also. We cover the central and eastern estates. Most of our customers are working couples and families who do not have time to go to a shop. There is no shopfront to visit — everything is arranged online. The website needs to make booking a collection easy, show what we charge, and say clearly which areas we cover.

What makes you different

We have been running collections for 8 years and the same driver covers the same estate every week, so customers know who is coming. We handle delicate and vintage pieces that other services will not take.

The look you want

Modern and easy on a phone, since most people book from their phone. Calm, not shouty. Show real laundry and real people rather than stock-looking pictures.

Describe your business

We repair and restore leather bags, shoes and small leather goods. Cleaning, recolouring, edge painting, zip and hardware replacement, lining change and corner rebuild. Most of what comes in is a branded bag someone has carried for years and does not want to replace. We quote after we see the item, and work takes 2 to 4 weeks depending on what is needed. Customers come to our workshop or courier the item to us. The website should show before and after photos of real work, and make it easy to send us photos on WhatsApp for a quote.

What makes you different

15 years doing leather work. We send photo updates at every stage so you can see exactly what we are doing to your bag.

The look you want

Show the craft close up, the leather and the thread and the tools. Warm, not clinical. I do not want a plain white minimal website.

We service and repair air-conditioning for HDB flats and condos in the north and east of Singapore. General servicing, chemical wash, chemical overhaul, gas top up and repairs. We also do quarterly service contracts. Two vans and four technicians, all our own staff, no subcontractors. Most people call us when the unit is dripping or blowing warm, and it is usually urgent. The website must show our price per unit clearly and make it very easy to WhatsApp or call us. People are hot and annoyed when they find us, so do not make them read a lot.

What makes you different

Same technician every visit if you are on a contract. All four have been with us at least 5 years. We give the price per unit before we come, no surprise charges.

The look you want

Simple and honest looking. Must be very easy to read on a phone in a hot corridor. Do not make it look like a big corporate company, we are a small team.

We clean sofas, mattresses, carpets and dining chairs in the customer's own home. Fabric and leather. We do not take the furniture away, everything is done on site and it is dry enough to use the same evening. We charge by the seat for sofas and by size for mattresses, and there is a minimum charge per visit. Most jobs come from a stain, a smell, or people getting the house ready before Chinese New Year or before guests come. The website should let people tell us what the piece is and what happened to it, and see roughly what it costs before they call.

What makes you different

We work in your home and it is dry the same evening. No sending your sofa away for two weeks. Safe for children and pets once it is dry.
